Gumash Studio is a multidisciplinary platform that takes inspiration and references from traditional crafts & narratives in the Middle East, creating products that are timeless and most importantly narrate a beautiful story from our rich culture in today's modern world.

Central Saint Martins graduate, Azza Alsharif is a Saudi Textile production & product Designer based in the UAE, Azza Alsharif has worked in the design industry for 8 years with experience working on leading design exhibitions in the Middle East, Azza went onto developing her love for traditional crafts in the UAE through many collaborative projects both regionally and internationally which involved craft skills development with artisans in the UAE. This has then led Azza to establish Gumash Studio in February 2018, a multidisciplinary platform that takes inspiration from traditional crafts in the Middle East.
